Vegetable Medley

Scrub and dry the squashes. Cut them in halves lengthwise and slice thickly. Cut the red pepper into thin strips, then cut strips into halves or thirds.

Melt butter in frying pan (with lid). Add vegetables, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, shaking the covered pan from time to time.
